Although Agility EOR does not have an occupational pension plan, it does offer payroll deductions through a Personal Retirement Savings Account programme (PRSA).

Employers are simply required to make this plan available to employees; they are not required to contribute to it.

Irish Healthcare Benefits

In Ireland, there are two types of healthcare systems: public and private.

The public health care system, which is run by the Health Service Executive and supported by general taxes and reduced service fees, is available to employees who are considered to be “ordinarily residents” in Ireland. The cost of all maternity services and daycare for children under the age of six is zero. If one visits the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department without previously visiting a GP, emergency care is available for €100.

The Medical Card – Welfare recipients, low-income earners, many retirees, and in some other circumstances may be eligible for the Medical Card, which entitles holders to free hospital care, doctor visits, dental services, optical services, auditory services, prescription drugs, and medical equipment. For some medical services, people who do not have a medical card (i.e., 68.1% of the population) must pay a price.

Agility EOR can assist in facilitating compensation for a private healthcare package that an employee has purchased directly from one of the private healthcare providers that is most suitable for their particular needs. This qualifies as a “benefit-in-kind.” On request, more details can be given.
