We don’t operate in countries which have sanctions against them and there are some very small countries where we have not yet established our Employer of Record services. We are able to employ on your behalf in most countries around the world and can even set up in new countries to support our client’s project.

To put it simply, an employer of record (EOR) is a company that allows you to expand into territories that you don’t have an entity in. HR, payroll, benefits, taxes, stock options, and compliance are all handled by a Global EOR.

Essentially the two are interchangeable. PEO is a term that those in the US will be familiar with and is used where employers have a US entity, but want to pool with other PEO employees for improved (and cheaper) benefits. Employer of Record (EOR) is where you don’t have an entity in a particular territory, and you want the EOR to employ them on your behalf. Agility EOR is a hybrid of both, offering the HR and payroll functions of a PEO, as well as being the Employer of Record for your employee.
